FlaBasquete lands in Europe for two friendlies before the World Cup

Pride of the Nation faces Burgos and San Sebastian on September 10th and 12th, respectively

The 2025/26 FlaBasquete season is about to begin! This Monday (8), the red-black squad landed in Madrid, Spain, to play two friendly matches in preparation for the FIBA ​​Intercontinental Cup, which will be held between September 18 and 21, in Singapore. 

Last Saturday (6), one day before the trip, Orgulho da Nação opened the doors of the Hélio Maurício gym, in Gávea, and held an open training session that was attended by hundreds of fans. After the activity, the players thanked the Nation for its support, stopping to take photos and sign autographs. 

FlaBasquete's first challenge in Spain will be against Burgos next Wednesday (10), at 15 pm (Brasília time). On Friday (12), Orgulho da Nação returns to the court to face San Sebastian, at 15 pm (Brasília time).

After the two friendlies, the team heads to Singapore, where they will debut in the FIBA ​​Intercontinental Cup against G League United, on September 18, at 6 am (Brasília time), at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
