After a great debut in the NBB, with an 86-61 victory over São Paulo, FlaBasquete returns to the competition. This Tuesday (26), the red-black squad embarked for Santa Cruz do Sul, where they face União Corinthians on Wednesday (27), at 20:30 pm. Next, Mais Querido faces Caxias do Sul, at the opponent's home. The match takes place on Friday (29), at 20 pm. Both clashes will be broadcast live and with images by Fla TV.

Still finding form, the team led by Gustavo De Conti is looking to maintain its unbeaten streak this year. They have already won 37 consecutive official matches this year and have not lost a single one. The revamped team is also working on building a solid foundation, consisting of players remaining from last season (Olivinha, Yago, Rafael Mineiro, Franco Balbi, and Rafael Rachel) and new signings: Vitor Faverani, Argentine Fabián Sahdi, Americans Brandon Robinson and Dar Tucker, JP Batista, who returned to Gávea after three years, and youngsters Matheus Leoni and Esteban Caffaro. Túlio da Silva, who was loaned to Caxias do Sul last season, also wears the Manto.

Reunion with the Nation

After the matches in Rio Grande do Sul, FlaBasquete will have the long-awaited reunion with the Nação Rubro-Negra. On November 3rd and 5th, Mengão will face Pato Basquete and Mogi, respectively, at the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, home of the Mais Querido this season. To encourage fans to support the Pride of the Nation, Flamengo launched this Monday (25) the Maracanãzinho Game Package, which includes all duels in Rio de Janeiro for the NBB classification phase.
