FlaBasquete faces Bauru to secure a spot in the South American final
The team will enter the court knowing its previous result and what it needs to do to advance to the next stage.

After the victory, now comes the fans. Flamengo defeated Minas Tênis Clube in the second round of the South American Basketball League and once again has a chance of securing a spot in the competition's final. To do so, they'll need points, fans, and a little math. Is a spot in the final worth it? Is it in the rules? Then that's how it will be.
WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN
With two wins, Instituto de Córdoba has the best chance of securing a spot. Their goal difference, the tiebreaker, is 31, compared to Flamengo's eight. For Mengão to reach the final, it's imperative that Minas wins, preferably by a large margin, to reduce this deficit, allowing the Pride of the Nation to enter the court against Bauru knowing exactly how much of a difference they'll lose. This, of course, is in addition to beating their traditional rival from São Paulo, who, despite having no chance of qualifying, are looking to regain their footing in the competition. If the Argentines win their match, Flamengo will play the final match just to make ends meet.
BAURU
Already eliminated from the competition, the Bauru team is playing for honor and to avoid a 0-3 record. This semifinal campaign is quite different from the first round, where they comfortably qualified in second place, winning two of their three matches. Ironically, one of them was against Minas Gerais (75-70) and also against Chile's Fastbreak (82-66), losing only to Quimsa of Argentina (80-86).
In the NBB, the traditional Bauru is having a campaign far below expectations, with eight losses in 11 games so far. In the match against Flamengo, playing at the Panela de Pressão, Bauru lost 47-77. In the history of the competition, 36 matches, with 26 victories for Flamengo.
SPEAK, RAFAEL MINER
"The match against Bauru will definitely be a tough one. They're a team that was also built to compete for the title in every competition, but they've suffered a lot from injuries and have some players who are still recovering. Our team comes into this match after a very grueling run of matches and we hope to be at our best."
