The Mais Querido's last NBB game was just over a week ago, on the 21st, against União Corinthians. At home, the Rubro-Negro won 79-74.

The Pride of the Nation is currently second in the national championship standings, with eight wins in nine matches played so far. In December, Flamengo will also face São José, São Paulo, and Paulistano away from home, as well as Rio Claro and Franca at Maracanãzinho on the 27th and 29th.
