One of the most anticipated clashes in the NBB, Flamengo and Franca face each other this Saturday (05) in the return leg of the competition's qualifying phase. Away from home, FlaBasquete is looking for its 19th victory in 22 matches played. The Mais Querido occupies second place in the table with 85,7% success in the tournament so far. The duel takes place at 16:10 pm, with live broadcast on FlaTV, at the Pedrocão gym (SP).

Flamengo and Franca have faced each other 38 times in the history of the NBB, with Flamengo winning 24 times. This season, however, the only meeting between the two teams ended in an 80-65 victory for the opponent at Maracanãzinho. Now, Flamengo is seeking revenge against the Franca team.

"A game against the league leader always has something special, especially since they beat us here. But we know we have to prepare to play hard, we have to prepare well," said point guard Franco Balbi. "We're coming in with a lot of confidence; we just became world champions, and we have to prove it on the court. They have a great team, but they're not invincible."

The Argentine was one of FlaBasquete's standout performers in last Wednesday's match against Cerrado at Maracanãzinho. The Magician scored 17 points in the 69-63 victory, while also grabbing five rebounds and four assists.
