Flabasquete faces Limeira in the NBB
Rubro-Negro plays away from home against the competition leader

After an important victory in Rio Claro, Flabasquete goes to Limeira, this Friday (09.01), to face the home team and leaders of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The red-black team takes to the court at Ginásio Vô Lucato, at 19:30 pm, in a match valid for the 15th round of the competition.
While the São Paulo team remains in first place, having lost only one game in 14, Orgulho da Nação continues to chase the leaders, occupying third place in the championship with a 75% success rate. A victory tonight would be a big step for coach José Neto's team to narrow the gap to the top of the table.
Aware of the challenges he'll face in the match, the coach spoke about his expectations for Friday's match. "Today's game is special because we're playing against the league leader, who isn't there by chance. They're playing very well. But we have the same goals of fighting for the top spots, so it's a direct confrontation. We prepared very well for this match and for the difficulty of facing them at their home ground. I think we'll play a great game and fight for another victory in the tournament," said Neto.
After today's match, the Rubro-Negro team returns to Rio de Janeiro, where they will face Bauru and Paulistano, respectively, on the 13th and 15th of this month at Arena da Barra.
