The Pride of the Nation is ready for the first official game of the season. This Sunday (10), at 16 pm, Rubro-Negro plays at home, at the Hélio Maurício gym, against Municipal in the semifinal of the Campeonato Carioca. The match will be broadcast live on Fla TV.

Five-time consecutive champions in 2020, FlaBasquete is seeking its 47th state title. Captain Olivinha, in his 14th season wearing the Manto, promised to deliver.

"It's an important tournament for us; it's a good way to start the year off right. We'll do everything we can to win tomorrow's semifinal. It'll be good for our team to start the season gaining a little more confidence and building more chemistry," said the power forward.

In the first match of the day, Niterói and Sodiê/Mesquita/LSB will face off for the other spot in the final. The decision will take place on Tuesday (12), at 18 pm, also at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium.
