Continuing its preparations for the South American League and NBB 10, FlaBasquete will play two more friendlies this preseason. The team, led by coach José Neto, will face Vitória on September 26th and 27th at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium in Gávea.
The games will serve as test runs and mark the first matches with the full squad, now with the addition of new signing Henrique Pilar. After a two-and-one record at the Lima International Tournament, FlaBasquete hopes to reach the highest level to kick off the 17/18 season.
In the first pre-season friendlies, FlaBasquece beat Unifascisa by 73x67, the Cameroonian National Team by 90x82, Bahía Basket (ARG) by 62x58 and Regatas Lima (PER) by 84x44. The only defeat came against the same Bahia Basket by 82x73.
The Red-Black Nation will be able to attend the match, purchasing tickets for 1kg of non-perishable food, excluding salt. Tickets will only be sold at the door and are subject to availability.
