FlaBasquete concludes its participation in the South American League with a victory over Bauru
The team will have a break and will only play again on the 07th, in the classic against Botafogo.

The game was about honoring the jersey and winning, because, as the anthem says, "Win, Win, Win." Because of the previous match's result, Flamengo took the court to face Bauru, out of contention for a spot in the South American League final. Instituto de Córdoba defeated Minas Tênis Clube 83-64 and secured their spot.
With 27 points, Marquinhos once again finished as the game's and the team's top scorer in the championship. Kevin Crescenzi also had a strong performance, scoring 21 points, including five three-pointers, and grabbing six rebounds. Center Anderson Varejão scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds, rounding out the list of players with more than 10 points.
Anyone who thought this would be a practice session is mistaken. Both Bauru and Flamengo went all out in search of victory. Bauru relied on Jefferson, in excellent form, to score 16 points and push the team forward. Marquinhos returned the ball at the other end, but Flamengo couldn't break away, with the lead alternating between the two teams. By the end of the quarter, Gustavo De Conti's team held a one-point lead, 27-26.
The pace was identical in the second quarter. Always one point ahead, Flamengo maintained the lead but couldn't open up a gap. The game was heated, back and forth. That's when Varejão began to tip the balance. With 13 points, the number 17 was responsible for the team's rise on the court and finally gaining ground, closing the first half at 52-41.
The game's volume dropped significantly in the third quarter. Numerous errors on both sides contributed to a lower score early in the half. Flamengo scored just three points and Bauru two for three minutes. As the half wore on, the São Paulo team made more shots and finished the half ahead (21-20), but still trailed overall by 10 points (72-62).
In the final quarter, with the advantage secured and more relaxed on the court, Flamengo simply controlled the match, extending the lead to 22 points with five minutes remaining. From there, they simply controlled the match and sealed it with a three-pointer from Matheusinho with 20 seconds remaining, bringing the score to 102 to Minas' 75. Now, FlaBasquete turns its attention to the NBB, where it sits third with eight wins and three losses. On December 07th, the Pride of the Nation will face Botafogo in the classic at Tijuca Tênis Clube.
