FlaBasquete focuses on performance in the decisive week against Mogi
Team works to improve attack against rivals in the NBB semifinals

The 79-62 scoreline for their opponent wasn't the best result, highlighting José Neto's team's poor performance. This was the coach's diagnosis for the away loss, in addition to allowing Mogi to play.
"We didn't perform well. We tried the right way many times, but other times we made mistakes in our decision-making. Most of the time it was a mistake in our performance, and we ended up not scoring very well. It was a very low score, and we allowed Mogi to play the way they like to play. We didn't cause them any discomfort," commented the coach upon the team's return to training at Arena Carioca.
Playing against an opponent in a series changes the training process. Instead of considering different styles, Neto prepares the team for that opponent and the next, knowing what needs to be done in each game. This is what the team's preparation will focus on this week.
"That's what we need to improve. Adapt to a new way of playing, a way to play against a team that's coming in with high morale, that's coming from the playoffs with some difficulties and has overcome that. We've been training very specifically in relation to the opponent. Tactical situations, where we practice finishing. This week will be a lot of tactical and specific work against Mogi," continued Neto, who also emphasized the strength that the home court factor can have at this moment.
"We spent the entire championship trying to be in first place to decide alongside the fans at home, so I have no doubt that in the next game we will have a better performance to try to tie the series," concluded Neto.
The second match will be this Friday at 20 p.m. at Arena Carioca 1. Next Monday, Flamengo and Mogi will play the third game of the best-of-five series, also at Arena Carioca, at the same time of 20 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on Sportv.
