Flabasquete wins another one for the LDB
With another great performance from Felício, Flamengo wins its third consecutive victory

The Flamengo team that competes in the Basketball Development League (LDB) achieved its third consecutive victory this Friday (05.12). After defeating Anápolis last Tuesday (02.12), by 67 to 60, and Náutico, on Thursday (04.12), by 81 to 70, the Pride of the Nation beat Brasília this Friday (05.12) with another excellent performance by center Cristiano Felício.
Despite the tight final score of 56-54, Flabasquete played another great game. Leading throughout, the red-and-black team once again demonstrated the strength of its talented players. Felício, also a member of the first team, once again demonstrated why he's considered one of the greatest revelations in Brazilian basketball. The number 21 recorded his fifth double-double in five games, with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Late in the match, Flamengo slowed down the intense pace they'd been playing throughout, allowing the rivalry between Flamengo and Brasília to resurface and, consequently, the score to drop. But once again, Cristiano Felício stepped in, grabbing a defensive rebound and hitting the shot on the final ball of the game that gave Orgulho da Nação the victory. The team, led by coach Chupeta, takes the court again this Saturday (December 06.12) against Sport.
