Gabriel Jaú was the absolute standout performer of the game, scoring 31 points. This broke his career scoring record and tied the highest single-game scoring record for any player in the competition's history.

1st Bedroom
FlaBasquete started the match by scoring the first two points on a solo play by Balbi, who spun around the defense and scored on a layup. Gui Deodato swung at the defender and converted a three-pointer. The start of the match was evenly matched, with the teams alternating in the lead. Gui Deodato again made a good play, this time inside the paint, scoring two points, drawing a foul, and hitting the bonus free throw. The Pride of the Nation closed the quarter leading by six points: 25-19.
2st Bedroom
The Mais Querido returned for the second period with a good play. Maique attempted a shot, the ball hit the rim, and the rebound was tapped in by Gabriel Jaú. Consistent on defense, the red-and-black team had good offensive performance, and with that, they were able to extend their lead. Jaú won the contest in the paint and passed to Cuello, in the dead zone, for another three points. Mengão then scored three three-pointers: one by Jaú and two by Gui Deodato. It's worth noting that Gustavinho's team transitioned quickly to attack and made it difficult for Bauru to defend. During the quarter, the Orgulho da Nação (National Pride) built a significant lead, closing the first half at 55-31.

3st Bedroom
After halftime, Bauru pushed hard to rally and narrow the Flamengo's lead. To slow the São Paulo team down, Cuello was accurate in the dead zone and hit another three-pointer. Mengão again tightened their defense and made Bauru's plays difficult, especially in the paint. It wasn't a quarter of great offensive production for Flamengo, but the Flamengo advantage remained significant:
4st Bedroom
Early in the fourth quarter, Gabriel Jaú dunked and scored two more points for Mengão. And the scene repeated itself! Jaú received the ball under the backboard and dunked again, sending the crowd wild. Big Maique followed suit and also dunked. It was a stellar dunking performance in the final period. With just over two minutes remaining, Balbi calibrated his hands and hit a three-pointer. With the game under control until the end, FlaBasquete put on another strong performance, defeating Bauru 86-67, securing a spot in the Copa Super 8 semifinals.

Having qualified, Orgulho da Nação returns to the court next Wednesday (31) to face Paulistano, at 19 pm, at Maracanãzinho, in the semifinal of the Super 8 Cup.
