FlaBasquete loses to Franca 81-73 and brings the decision to Maracanãzinho

In Game 3 of the NBB finals, FlaBasquete lost to Franca 81-73, on Saturday afternoon (8), at the Pedrocão gym. Now, the Pride of the Nation needs to win Game 4 at Maracanãzinho, next Thursday, to force Game 5, which will also be in Rio de Janeiro.
1st Bedroom
Franca took the lead, opening up a four-point lead. Devon Scott scored FlaBasquete's first two points. Gabriel Jaú received the ball in a good position and converted the game's first three-pointer. Gui Deodato also shot a three-pointer and fell. The match was very even, with neither team able to open up an advantage. With a low score and a very balanced duel, the set ended with an advantage for Franca: 14 to 12.
2st Bedroom
On the court, Cuello converted two consecutive three-pointers. Dida also took a shot from the perimeter, but the ball fell. The Pride of the Nation managed to stay ahead with good three-point shooting. Halfway through the period, Franca took the lead. Jaú's three-point attempt fell. Gui Deodato, with his hands in perfect shape, hit a three-pointer and was also fouled. He converted the bonus free throw. In the final seconds of the quarter, Devon Scott converted two free throws and tied the match: 41-41.
3st Bedroom
After halftime, FlaBasquete took the lead. But Franca, with two shots from Lucas Dias, regained the lead. Devon Scott, as the clock expired, scored two points from the paint. The match remained evenly matched, with the score alternating. And then Jaú's three-pointer fell! At a crucial moment in the quarter, Jaú hit two three-pointers. Mengão's number 9 dunked to tie the match. Franca finished ahead 65-62.
4st Bedroom
Early in the fourth quarter, Balbi's magic appeared, sinking a three-pointer. The match remained very even. In the final seconds, Didi converted two free throws and closed the deficit to three points with 45 seconds remaining. In the end, Franca converted two free throws and won the match 81-73.
