The campaign is a partnership between basketball and the Social Responsibility of Mais Querido with the NGO Indefesos. Tickets for the game can now be purchased at flamengo.superingresso.com.br.

"Helping vulnerable animals and raising awareness about combating animal cruelty and abandonment requires everyone's commitment. When we work together with animal protection organizations, such as the NGO Indefesos, we support the vital work carried out by tireless volunteers whose mission is to save lives, rescue animals from abuse and abandonment, and minimize the negative impacts of human action on animals," said Camila Nascimento, Social Responsibility Manager at Rubro-Negro.

The NGO Indefesos was founded in 2017, but the group had already been actively working on animal rescue since 2013. Rosana Guerra, president of the organization, spoke about the work carried out with the support of volunteers.

"The NGO Indefesos aims to save as many vulnerable animals as possible who are abandoned in our city. The NGO rescues, rehabilitates, and trains these animals, and directs them to safe and responsible homes. We give these defenseless animals the right to life, a right they lose when abandoned," he explained. "In addition to rescuing abandoned animals, many in critical situations requiring long-term hospitalization, we have the responsibility to raise awareness about animal protection and rights, as well as to advocate for effective public policies."

If approved, the adoption will be formalized with the signing of the Adoption Agreement, and delivery of the chosen animal will be arranged.
