FlaBasquete holds final training session in Rio before traveling to Uruguay
The Champions League final is scheduled for Friday (30), at the Antel Arena

On Tuesday morning (27), Flamengo had its last training session in Brazil before traveling to the Champions League grand final on Friday the 30th in Uruguay. The team's opponent will come from the clash between San Lorenzo and Quimsa, scheduled for later in Argentina. All athletes participated in the activity.

Coach Gustavo De Conti analyzed the preparation period, which included State matches and friendlies against Cerrado, Paulistano and Mogi, in addition to match-paced training.
"Considering the pandemic, it's clear that our preparation wasn't the same as a regular season. Especially since we would have played a game like this in the middle or at the end, not at the beginning. Within the possibilities, we did a great job. We played matches against NBB teams, our training sessions are always at game pace, and we had all the players from the start, so we're ready for the final," he declared.
One of the team's biggest standouts in the competition, Franco Balbi engineered the decision and showed his determination to lift the trophy at the Antel Arena.
"This final will be important and hard-fought, regardless of the opponent. San Lorenzo and Quimsa have won several titles and are strong teams. We really believe in what we've done in training, and we know the nation will be with us in their thoughts, supporting us. We want to bring another title to Gávea," he said.
