FlaBasquete prevails away from home and defeats Fortaleza BC 78-56 in the NBB

Playing away from home in the sixth round of the NBB, FlaBasquete beat Fortaleza BC 78-56 on Tuesday night (29), at the Centro Olímpico gymnasium. Point guard Alexey was the red-black highlight with 13 points. The Pride of the Nation remains in the northeast to face Unifacisa, on Friday (1).

1st Bedroom
The Pride of the Nation's first two points of the match came from Alexey, who drove into the paint and scored on a layup. Next, Gui Deodato stepped up to the plate, stepped into the paint, nailed the shot, and was fouled. He also converted the bonus free throw. The game was evenly matched, with both teams trading points. On the last ball of the first quarter, Fortaleza converted and closed out the quarter with a 23-21 lead.

2st Bedroom
In the opening seconds, Balbi provided a great assist for Gallizzi to score two more on the layup. Then, Kayo Gonçalves calibrated his hands and hit his first three-pointer. The Pride of the Nation returned more focused in the second quarter, took the lead, and even opened up a six-point lead. Gui Deodato stopped in mid-air and fired in a pinpoint three-pointer. Alexey was a standout performer, providing excellent assists and scoring. FlaBasquete improved its defense, capitalized on its offensive opportunities, and went into halftime with a twelve-point lead: 46-34.

3st Bedroom
Gui Deodato opened the scoring for "Pride of the Nation" in the third quarter with a three-pointer. The Flamengo team effectively closed down the spaces and made it difficult for Fortaleza to infiltrate the field. In the second half, the home team responded and closed the gap. Ruan also stood out, excelling in offensive play and rebounding. But in the final stretch, Flamengo regained control and finished the period with a 17-point lead: 60-43.

4st Bedroom
In the final quarter, the Pride of the Nation continued to control the action, not allowing their opponent to mount any reaction. Well-organized defensively and effective offensively, FlaBasquete closed out the game with a 78-56 victory, securing their fifth win of the competition.

The Pride of the Nation returns to the court next Friday (1) to face Unifacisa, at 19:30 pm, at Arena Unifacisa, for the seventh round of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB).
