FlaBasquete has two award winners among the best in the NBB
Marquinhos and Benite are Best Winger and Best Sixth Man; the red-and-black team, four-time champions this season, also won the Best Attack award

On the evening of last Monday (09.06), in the city of São Paulo, the Awards Ceremony for the Best of the New Basketball Brazil 7 (NBB) took place, where the individual highlights of the 2014/2015 season of the national basketball championship were announced and awarded. Four-time champion Flamengo took home three awards on the night.
Point guard Vitor Benite was named Best Sixth Man of the NBB, while winger Marquinhos won the Best Small Forward award, alongside Bauru's Alex Garcia. The team also received the Best Attack trophy of the competition; fitness coach Diego Falcão and coach José Neto represented the team and received the award.
In total, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) competition featured four athletes nominated in four different categories. In addition to the winners, Marquinhos, who was also nominated for MVP (Most Valuable Player), and Benite, Olivinha and Meyinsse competed for the Best Pivot award.
The vote that elected the best of the season included the participation of coaches, assistants and captain of the 16 teams that competed in the seventh edition of the NBB, as well as the specialized press, Brazilian basketball personalities, commissioners and referees.
