After Tuesday's victory over Vitória, FlaBasquete achieved its second-best campaign in the history of Novo Basquete Brasil. The 25-89,3 record is the most impressive since coach José Neto took over, with an XNUMX% success rate.

The current coaching staff's trajectory began in the 2012/13 season. With Neto's arrival, Rubro-Negro played 34 matches, achieving 30 positive results and only four defeats, totaling a performance of 88,2% and subsequently lifting the NBB title. 

In their second season at the helm of Mais Querido, the coaching staff finished the regular season with an 81% success rate. With 26 wins in 32 games, Flamengo secured first place, securing their third Novo Basquete Brasil title. 

With 23 wins and 7 losses in 30 games, the third season's performance wasn't as impressive as the previous ones, with a 76,7% success rate, but the end result remained the same. Another trophy at Gávea.

In the last NBB title, Flamengo's campaign was once again impeccable, with Flamengo achieving an 82,1% success rate in the regular season, adding 23 wins in 28 matches. Crowning the coaching staff's performance, José Neto was named the best coach of the year, and Flamengo won its fifth Novo Basquete Brasil title. 

The coaching staff's least impressive performance, in terms of success, was in the last NBB. Despite finishing first, their success rate was 75%, with 21 wins in 28 games, the worst ever recorded by Mais Querido in the competition. 

Flamengo's best record in history continues to be from the first edition of the NBB. In the 2008/09 season, the Red-Black team won 92,9% of the matches, with 26 wins in 28 matches, almost 20% more than the second-place team. On that occasion, the crowning glory came with the first trophy of the country's biggest championship.
