Mais Querido beats Franca with a great performance in the third quarter and remains strong in the title race

The team won 89-65, with a very high-level third quarter. JP Batista was the game's top scorer with 18 points and also added five rebounds. Alongside Rafa Luz (eight assists, of Flamengo's 21 in the game), the center was one of the highlights of the match.
With the victory, Flamengo is unbeaten in the confrontation with the São Paulo team in two seasons and five games. The Rubro-Negro returns to the court next Friday (13/11), when it hosts Rio Claro Basquete, at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium, in the Gávea social headquarters, at 8 pm.

Franca started by asserting itself as the home team, eventually opening up a six-point lead. But the Mais Querido closed the gap and ended the first quarter trailing by just one point: 22-21. Then, Olivinha came on and with nine points helped turn the match around to 45-41.
In the third quarter, it was Jason Robinson's turn to shine. The American scored nine of his 14 points in the third quarter, giving Flamengo a 22-7 lead, opening up a 67-48 lead overall. In the final period, the team held on to their advantage and secured the victory.
