FlaBasquete beat Brasília 83-63 on Friday afternoon (4), at the Nilson Nelson gymnasium, in the third place dispute of the NBB Opening Tournament. With the result, Mais Querido ends its participation in the tournament and, consequently, its pre-season.

There were three victories in four games in the federal capital, added to the red-black tour in Spain, which complete the preparation of Mais Querido with an eye on the challenges of the next season.

Now it's for real! FlaBasquete returns to the court on Saturday (12), to face Vasco, at 17 pm, at Tijuca Tênis Clube, for the opening of the NBB.

1st Bedroom
The match started evenly, with both teams exchanging shots. Flamengo managed to convert its shots of the period in the final stretch of the first quarter and took the lead: 22-20 for the Mais Querido.

2st Bedroom
It was in the second period that Flamengo found its offensive rhythm. The red-and-black team knew how to defend the opposing team's attacks and score in transition. Mengão went into the locker room winning the match 45-42.

3st Bedroom
Flamengo maintained the same pace as the first half and had a nearly flawless third period defensively, conceding just 11 points to their opponents. They held a ten-point lead after three sets: 63-53.

4st Bedroom
Gui Deodato opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer, followed by a dunk by Jordan Williams. Boosted by a strong start to the fourth quarter, FlaBasquete further extended the lead they had built up thus far. Luan Rodrigues delivered the final score: 83-63 for the "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved).
