In another round of the NBB, FlaBasquete beat Cerrado 89-71 on Monday night (13), at the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, and achieved their fourth consecutive victory in the competition. The highlight of the match was Hungarian Filipovity with 23 points.

Mengão's first two points of the match came from Franco Balbi, who drove into the paint and scored on a layup. A good one-two between Didi and Gabriel Jaú resulted in two more points. Cerrado also capitalized on their attacking opportunities to score. Balbi fed Dida into the dead zone, and he scored the first three-pointer of the match. Filipovity hit a three-pointer and then drove into the paint for two more. With a strong performance from the Hungarian, the Pride of the Nation closed the first period leading 21-16.

2st Bedroom
Early in the second quarter, Gui Deodato spun past the defense and converted a three-pointer. Jaú received the ball in the paint, spun, scored, and was then fouled. The final quarter began as the third ended: with Gui Deodato converting another three-pointer. Maique also repeated his teammate's example, scoring another three points for FlaBasquete.
