This Saturday (02), Orgulho da Nação hosted Joinville at Tijuca Tênis Clube. In a match dominated by Rubro-Negro from the 3rd quarter onwards, Ronald Ramon, Marquinhos and JP Batista had inspired performances to unbalance the match in favor of FlaBasquete. With 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, Marquinhos was the highlight of the home team's 86-75 victory.

Despite a strong offensive performance, Joinville had good moments when they had possession. With good movement, Joinville's defense created problems, especially on plays inside the paint. At the end of the first quarter, Joinville carried a three-point deficit into halftime, finishing 24-27.

In the following quarter, however, Flamengo's quality prevailed. Coach José Neto made the necessary defensive adjustments to give Flamengo the lead. Marquinhos finished the first period with 10 points. Olivinha, with 9 points and 3 rebounds, was also instrumental in the comeback. The Pride of the Nation went into halftime with a 42-39 lead.

Starting in the second half, Flamengo opened up a significant lead. With speed and precision on offense, as well as defensively capable of stopping Joinville's attacks, the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo's Favorite) opened up a 16-point lead in the third quarter. This advantage held until the end of the match, which ended in an 86-75 victory for the red-and-black team.
