FlaBasquete beats Mogi 77-67 and qualifies for the NBB semifinals
Hettsheimeir was the standout performer with 17 points and seven rebounds. Now, Mengão awaits its playoff opponent.

In the second game of the NBB quarterfinals, FlaBasquete beat Mogi 77-67 on Friday night (30), at Maracanãzinho. Mengão's standout player in the match was Hettsheimeir with 17 points and seven rebounds. With the victory, Orgulho da Nação secured a place in the semifinals of the competition without the need for a tiebreaker.
The game
FlaBasquete started the match with the better of the defense with Olivinha, who penetrated the paint and scored the team's first two points. The Flamengo God of Race excelled at the beginning of the quarter, scoring six of Fla's first ten points of the game. Yago was also excellent, hitting two three-pointers. In a tight first quarter, the Pride of the Nation finished ahead 28-22.
Early in the second quarter, Hettsheimeir attempted a three-pointer, and the ball went in. Defensively, the red-and-black team capitalized on rebounds and quickly transitioned to attack. On the court, Rafael Mineiro also converted from outside the perimeter. With a good lead, the Mais Querido worked the plays calmly, moving the ball around to find the best shot. Yago continued to excel, both in setting up plays and in driving. With the game under control, Mengão went into halftime with a strong lead: 48-36.
In the third quarter, Marquinhos showed his skill, converting consecutive baskets on offense. The red-and-black team maintained high intensity and scored shots on offense, further increasing the lead. Lucas Martinez was one of the team's standouts with 14 points. Mengão opened up a 21-point lead and finished the quarter leading 67-48.
In the final period, the Pride of the Nation continued to impose its rhythm and convert its attacking moves. Hettsheimeir received a free kick and scored a three-pointer. In the final period of the match, the Mogi team fought back and closed the gap. But Mengão managed to manage its advantage, leaving the court with the victory and a guaranteed place in the NBB semifinals: 77-67.
Now, Mais Querido awaits the definition of who will be its opponent in the next stage of the playoffs, which will come from the clash between Bauru and Paulistano.
