The game

1st Bedroom

The Pride of the Nation started the match by immediately demonstrating its potential with a three-pointer from Gui Deodato. The red-and-black team's early game was marked by intensity, eventually opening up a six-point lead. However, as the quarter progressed, the Unifacisa team evened things out and stayed close to Mengão. Alexey, with his fourth assist, found Cummings open to hit a three-pointer. In the final minutes, both teams committed a few offensive errors and went scoreless for a while. FlaBasquete maintained its lead and closed the quarter at 19-16.

For the first time, Unifacisa took the lead in the opening seconds of the quarter. The red-and-black team, in turn, showed a quick reaction and, with two three-pointers from Kayo Gonçalves, regained the lead. Center Wesley made a great play in the paint and dunked, adding two more points for the Red-and-Black team. The match remained evenly matched. Unifacisa didn't let Flamengo get away. Despite Orgulho da Nação's low scoring in the quarter, the red-and-black team's defense worked well and secured a small lead. With that, FlaBasquete went into halftime leading by just two points: 35-33.

3st Bedroom

In the third quarter, Unifacisa tied the score. FlaBasquete quickly reacted with two three-pointers: one from Alexey and another from Cummings. The game remained the same as the first half, with Orgulho da Nação leading but unable to open up a big lead. In a beautiful play, Negrete accelerated into the paint and scored two points on a layup. Confident in the game, Wesley received the ball at the three-point line and converted the shot for Mengão. In the last second, Alexey shot from halfcourt and scored another three points for Orgulho da Nação, who closed the period with a 58-50 lead.

4st Bedroom

In the final quarter, Flamengo extended their lead to 10 points thanks to a fine play by Gui Deodato, who scored on a layup. Mengão's number 1 also converted a three-pointer just as Unifacisa was closing in on the scoreboard. On the court, Dee Bost hit a near-fallen shot and was even fouled. In the decisive moment, he always shows up! Gui Deodato nailed another three-pointer from the dead zone, helping the red-and-black team increase their lead. Alexey also had an excellent performance, setting up plays well, driving into the paint, and converting important three-pointers. With two seconds remaining, Cumming connected from the dead zone, and the Pride of the Nation closed out the duel with an 80-70 victory, securing their second NBB victory.
