FlaBasquete returns to training this Tuesday

This Tuesday (30), FlaBasquete returns to the Gávea headquarters to begin preparations for the 2016/17 season. The squad restarts training in the afternoon, at the Strength Center, and then goes to physical training at the Hélio Maurício gym. The work, focusing on medical and physiotherapy assessments and physical preparation, continues until Friday and the group has Saturday and Sunday off.

From September 16th to 18th, Flamengo will compete in a friendly tournament in Arequipa, PeruOn September 22nd, the Pride of the Nation takes to the court for the first round of the Carioca Championship., against Macaé. Then, they compete in the quadrangular tournament with Basquete Cearense, Vasco and VitóriaBetween September 25th, 26th, and 27th, in Fortaleza. Upon returning to Rio, they will face Botafogo (September 30th) and Vasco (October 3rd) still in the first round of the state championship; the return matches will be on October 6th, 12th, and 15th.
