On Monday afternoon (04.01), FlaBasquete gained another reinforcement: shooting guard Ronald Ramon, 1,86m and 29 years old. The player, a native of the Dominican Republic, is the last piece of José Neto's squad, with the possibility of participating in up to 38 games between Novo Basquete Brasil and Liga das Américas.

According to the Executive Director of Olympic Sports, Marcelo Vido, Ramon's signing was part of FlaBasquete's financial planning for the season and the board celebrates the athlete's arrival at Gávea.

Next Friday (08.01), Flamengo will face Macaé in the return leg of the NBB and Neto should already be able to count on the newly signed player, as Ronald will officially present himself to the medical department for routine exams the day before, Thursday (07.01), when he will join his teammates after signing the contract.
