Flamengo took advantage of the free morning to finalize the details for Wednesday night's game (January 12.01) against Mavort of Ecuador, at 23:15 pm (Brasília time) in the second round of the first phase of the Liga das Américas, in Ibarra. The red-and-black team trained in the morning and will attend a video session in the afternoon. With a victory over Quimsa (ARG) in the opening match (78 x 72), Flamengo could even mathematically guarantee an unprecedented qualification for the second phase of the tournament, in the event of another positive result. But, to do so, the Argentines will have to lose to Español (CHI) in the opening match, at 21:15 pm (Brasília time).

Mavort, this Wednesday's opponent, is competing in the tournament for the first time and will play with the support of the fans who promise to fill the five thousand seats at the Coliseu Luiz Leoro Franco. 

"We took the first step in the victory over Quimsa. The game against Mavort will also be difficult, as they are a good team and will have the support of their fans," said coach Gonzalo Garcia.
