Flamengo announces departures and continues planning for the 26/27 season.

Seven athletes are ending their time with FlaBasquete, while the club continues assembling its roster for the 2026/27 season.

Flamengo announces that the following players are no longer part of the FlaBasquete roster: Gui Deodato, Jhonatan Luz, Shaq Johnson, Kayo Gonçalves, Wesley Castro, Cumming, and Doria.

Throughout their time at the club, the players contributed to important achievements and helped write another chapter in the recent history of Flamengo basketball.

Gui Deodato ends his time at Flamengo with titles in the Champions League Americas (BCLA), the Super 8 Cup, and the Torneio Apertura. Jhonatan Luz, one of the most successful athletes in the recent history of FlaBasquete, bids farewell after two stints with the club, totaling three Super 8 Cup titles, two BCLA titles, two NBB titles, and one Torneio Apertura title.

Shaq Johnson and Kayo Gonçalves are also leaving Flamengo after being part of the championship-winning squad in the BCLA and Torneio Apertura last season. Wesley Castro and Cummings were part of the Torneio Apertura winning team, while Dória ends his time at the club after wearing the sacred jersey in the 2025/26 season.

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo thanks all the athletes for the commitment, professionalism and dedication shown during the time they wore the Sacred Mantle.
