Flamengo's U-20 team achieved its first victory in the second phase of the Basketball Development League, this Friday (24). The team recovered from a tight defeat, against Cearense, by a score of 70 to 69 for their opponents, and beat Sogipa, by 105 to 56. The highlight of the match was wing Assunção, who scored 26 points on the scoreboard for Rubro-Negro. With the result, Mais Querido qualifies for the final phase of the LDB.
Closing out the second round of the competition, Flamengo faces Uberlândia this Saturday at 11:15 a.m. The matches will be played at the Antonio Prado Jr. gymnasium in São Paulo.
