Flamengo seeks rehabilitation in the NBB

Flamengo has another NBB challenge this Saturday (February 03.02rd) against Vila Velha at 16 pm at the Tartarugão gymnasium in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo. Sportv will broadcast the match live. Flamengo is third in the overall standings with 15 wins in 20 games. However, they have two games in hand over the top two, Pinheiros and São José, both with 17 wins in 22 games.
This Saturday's opponent, Vila Velha, is bottom of the table with just one win in 23 matches played.
Flamengo is coming off a loss to São José in the last round, which cost the team second place in the standings. For coach Gonzalo Garcia, a victory over Vila Velha will be crucial to boost the team's confidence heading into the final rounds of the tournament.
"The team is coming off a loss in a game where we didn't perform well either defensively or offensively. We need to control both of these fundamentals and get a good win to rehabilitate ourselves in the competition," said the Argentine coach.
