Flamengo arrives in Belo Horizonte for the second Champions League bubble
The first opponent will be Instituto Córdoba, this Monday (08), at 17:40 pm
By Helena Petry - inFlaBasquete landed this Sunday morning (07) in Belo Horizonte (MG) to compete in the second bubble of the Champions League. The opponents will be Instituto Córdoba, from Argentina, on Monday (08), at 17:40 pm, and the host Minas Tênis Clube, on Tuesday (09), at the same time. The matches are valid for Group D of the competition and will be broadcast live on DAZN in Brazil.
Rafael Mineiro spoke about the preparation for the clashes, which take place after another long sequence of games in the NBB, which ended last Thursday (04), with a victory over Bauru.
"It's a short training period, but our team already knows what it has to do. We have to focus on our own. Everyone is fine, everyone is in good shape. We have plenty of players to rotate, and Gustavo trusts all 12 players. So we'll go into these games calmly. We know what we have to do, and we know our next two Champions League opponents well," said the center.
Mais Querido has played only one match so far in the competition, beating Minas at Maracanãzinho by 79 to 69. The game that was to be held against Instituto Córdoba at Flamengo's headquarters, on February 5, was canceled because the Argentine team did not show up at the gym due to positive cases of Covid-19.
