Let's go, Montevideo! FlaBasquete found out their opponents in Group D of the 2018 South American League this Wednesday (29). Playing the first phase in the capital of Uruguay, the Mais Querido will face Libertad de Sunchales, from Argentina, and the Uruguayan teams Welcome and Atletico Goés. The matches will be held between October 23 and 25, and the Rubro-Negro is looking for the second championship of the tournament. 

In the first phase, the teams, divided into four groups, will play a round-robin format over three days. The top two teams from Groups A, C, and D, along with the best third-place team from the three groups, will qualify for the Semifinal Stage. From Group B, which includes the national champions of Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Peru, only the top team will qualify for the second phase of the tournament. 

In the semifinal stage, the eight clubs will be divided into two groups and face each other. The top-ranked team from each group will compete in the 2018 South American League final. The LSA champion will earn a direct spot in the 2019 Liga das Américas.
