After celebrating their victory in game four, it's time for Flamengo to let their adrenaline subside and focus on the fifth and final game of the Novo Basquete Brasil finals series. The current two-time national champions will play their third consecutive title against Brasília on Sunday at 10 a.m. in Anápolis, Goiás, and the players' expectations are high.

Point guard Duda, one of Flamengo's standout players this season and one of the players most closely identified with the fans, believes the team demonstrated its resilience in Thursday's match at HSBC Arena. He said the team managed to put aside the chaos in Brasília in the third game and turned things around on the court.

"These are tense, tense games, and this scoreline isn't normal. But even after the defeats and the chaos, we stayed focused and achieved an important victory. Now it's time to go for the third title. We've proven we have what it takes. The team performed very well defensively, and on offense, with above-average three-pointers, we were efficient. Congratulations to the team," he celebrated.

Point guard Hélio, in turn, besides celebrating the good result, has already expressed concern about the fifth game. According to him, all the effort is for nothing if the team doesn't win its third championship.

 "It's gratifying to take on the role of a key player in the playoffs and finals. I've been performing well, calling the shots, and I'm in very good form. Now it's time to focus on the fifth game. All this effort is useless if we don't win in Goiás," he concluded.

Flamengo will travel to Anápolis this Friday. The team will then fly to Brasília, from where they will continue on to the city in Goiás.
