Flamengo defeats Brasilia in friendly match

In the first classic of the season, Flamengo defeated Brasília 91-83 on Wednesday night (October 03.10rd) in a friendly match at Tijuca Tênis Clube. The match served as preparation for the first phase of the South American League, from October 23rd to 25th, and for the NBB, starting in November. With six new players, Flamengo is looking for chemistry and game rhythm for the upcoming competitions and achieved its goal in the first big test against the current three-time Brazilian champion.
"I think the team had a good attitude, especially since we were playing against a strong opponent. We still have a few things to improve on. In the first half, for example, I think we made defensive mistakes. The main thing is that the players are also seeing this and are striving to improve," said coach José Neto.
