On Wednesday night (27), in a very disputed game, Flamengo beat União Corinthians by 87 to 76 and maintained its 100% success rate in the national competition. The match was played at the Arnão Sports Gymnasium, in Rio Grande do Sul. 

The game

Without much success in the first quarter, Mais Querido capitalized on their opportunities, stepped up their defense, and opened up a solid lead in the second period. With the momentum building after halftime, Gustavo De Conti's men remained calm, held on to the lead, and won without any major scares in the end, despite the opposing team's attempts to rally. 

Highlights

American Brandon Robinson was the top scorer (20 points). Another player who had a great performance was Monstrinho Yago, who recorded a double-double (12 points and 11 rebounds). Dar Tucker (11 points and 5 rebounds), Túlio da Silva (11 points), Rafael Mineiro (10 points) and Olivinha (8 points and 8 rebounds) were other highlights.
