Flamengo competes in the Brazilian Under-14 Basketball Cup
Acting in Belo Horizonte, Mais Querido premieres this Tuesday

Debuting this Tuesday, Flamengo will compete in the Brazilian Under-14 Basketball Cup, held in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The tournament will feature the participation of Olympico Club (MG), AADB/Associação Adrianinha de Basketball (PE), Álvares Cabral (ES), Amab/Girafinhas (SP), Bis Mackenzie (SP), Cetaf/Ivv (ES), Clube Central (RJ), CSCFN/Volta Redonda (RJ), Esporte Clube Ginástico (MG), Esporte Clube Pinheiros (SP), Lbe/Superação (SP), Minas Tênis Clube (MG) and Praia Clube (MG).

The 14 clubs will be divided into four groups, two with four teams and two with three. Flamengo's debut will be against Álvares Cabral, from Espírito Santo. Completing Flamengo's group are Minas Tênis Clube and Mackenzie, from São Paulo.
The Flamengo Regatas basketball teams receive funding from their sponsors – Thinkseg, TIM, AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR) and the State Incentive Law/Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat of Sports, Recreation, and Youth (Seelje), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) through the decentralization of funds from the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the club.
