Flamengo's men's basketball team will play two friendly matches in preparation for the South American League and the NBB (New Basketball Brazil) in Vila Velha. The team, led by Paulo Chupeta, will face CETAF on October 1st and 2nd at the opponent's home ground. Flamengo will debut in the NBB on November 7th against Araraquara in the interior of São Paulo. The South American League will begin on September 28th in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Between these two competitions, Flamengo will also compete in the State Championship. The Rubro-Negro's debut will be on the 24th against Iguaçu in the Municipal Championship.
