Rio de Janeiro will host the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) finals! Maracanãzinho will host the tournament's Final Four on April 18th and 19th, and Flamengo will have the chance to fight for the third consecutive title against the Nação Rubro-Negra (Red-Black Nation). Mengão faces Franca in the semifinals on April 18th. On the same day, Argentina's Boca Juniors and Instituto Córdoba battle for the other spot in the final. On April 19th, the losers will play for third place, while the winners will take to the court to compete for the BCLA trophy and a spot in the World Cup.

Driven by the Biggest Fanbase in the World, we'll have two major battles, which, if won, will qualify us to compete in the World Cup once again, this time in Singapore, from September 20th to 25th. We thank SESC and the State Government for their support and their key role in helping us host the event. This is Flamengo," he concluded.

Flamengo's campaign in this BCLA reaffirms the club's tradition in the continental competition. In the group stage, Mengão dominated its group, which included Boca Juniors (ARG) and Toros de Chiriquí (PAN), securing the lead with five wins in six games. First place was confirmed at the end of the second window, when the team won its first four matches. This consistency is nothing new: in all six BCLA editions, Flamengo advanced to the knockout stages leading its group. In the quarterfinals, another feat: it was the only team to secure qualification with a 2-0 series record, eliminating Paisas (COL) without needing a third game. Now, two games separate the "Mais Querido" from eternal glory.
