Home win! In the NBB, Flamengo beat Mogi 89-74 on Tuesday afternoon (16), at Maracanãzinho. The red-black's top scorer in the match was Chuzito with 19 points.

The game
FlaBasquete started the first period by showing its calling card with a three-pointer from Marquinhos. The match was evenly matched at the start, with both teams trading points on offense. In the final minutes, the Red-Blacks managed to better execute their offensive plays, adjust their defense, and open up a nine-point lead: 23-14.

In the second quarter, Flamengo continued to defend well and exploited steals to counterattack, opening up a lead. Chuzito and Hettsheimeir were alert throughout the game and converted most of their attempted shots. In an inspired performance, Chuzito converted two consecutive three-pointers. With just a few minutes remaining, Marquinhos found Leo Demetrio open to sink two more for Flamengo, which remained ahead 46-28.

In the third quarter, the Pride of the Nation continued to impose its collective game and managed to open up an even bigger lead. The red-and-black defense continued to work, making it difficult for Mogi to create any chances. In the final seconds of the quarter, the São Paulo team reacted and narrowed the gap slightly: 64-52.

Early in the fourth quarter, Chuzito made a beautiful drive and added two more points for Mengão. Marquinhos then tried for a three-pointer, but the ball fell. Hettsheimeir also made no mistake, converting another three points. Yago was another who demonstrated excellent playmaking, distributing the ball well. In the final stretch, Flamengo managed its advantage and left the court with another victory, remaining firmly in the lead of the NBB (89-74).
