This Monday (12), the Technical Department of the National Basketball League (LNB) released the complete game schedule for the ninth edition of the NBB CAIXA and Flamengo will be present in the opening match, on November 5, Saturday, against Bauru, at the Ginásio Panela de Pressão, at the opponent's home, at 14 pm.
This will be the second consecutive season in which the teams have opened the competition, as the opening game always corresponds to the final. In the two editions in which they met in the final (2014/2015 and 2015/2016), the trophy went to Gávea.
The second round for José Neto's team will be on Tuesday, November 8th, at 19:30 pm, against Franca, away from home. Before the NBB CAIXA, Flamengo will play two friendly tournaments, in Fortaleza e in Peru, in addition to the carioca championship.
The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo adult basketball team relies on direct funding from its sponsor Estácio, in addition to investments from Tim via the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat for Sports, Leisure and Youth (ICMS).
