FlaBasquete beats Central and wins the Rio de Janeiro Under-13 Cup
The team led by coach Nelson Mourão won all matches in the final phase

The final phase, which featured the participation of Central and ABIG, was decided against the Niteroi team, and with a positive outcome for Rubro-Negro: a 43x28 victory and another title in the bag.
After finishing fifth in the final standings of the State Championship, Flamengo automatically qualified for the Rio de Janeiro Cup. In four matches, Flamengo secured four wins, sealing the title. Nelson Mourão, the club's coach, spoke about the achievement and emphasized the importance of learning from the season.
"It's always great to be a champion. Our ultimate goal is always to develop the athlete. Our team is very young, most of the boys started competing this year, it was a year of a lot of learning. Even though we weren't able to reach the top of the final classification, we evolved a lot and we deserved to achieve this title. The boys dedicated themselves a lot and I can only thank them for another journey", said the coach.
