In a balanced duel at the Sesi-RS gymnasium, Flamengo suffered a setback and now returns to Maracanãzinho in search of recovery.

Ending the sequence of away games, Flamengo was defeated by Caxias do Sul 76-74 on Thursday night (2), at the Sesi-RS gymnasium, in a match valid for the NBB. In a match marked by balance from start to finish, the Mais Querido ended up defeated after the team from Rio Grande do Sul grew in the decisive moments. Now, Rubro-Negro returns to play in front of the Nation, at Maracanãzinho, in the next commitment, in search of finding the path to victory again.
1st Bedroom
Flamengo started the game exploiting their speed and scored the first two points with Manel, who started the game in place of Wesley. Imposing a strong pace in the initial minutes, the red-and-black team relied on Baralle's three-point shots, who converted two three-pointers. On the other hand, Caxias only managed to score after the first few minutes of the game. In the final part, the home team grew in the game and turned the score around, closing the quarter with a one-point advantage: 19 to 18.
2st Bedroom
In the second period, the duel remained balanced, with the teams alternating in the lead. On the court, Kayo Gonçalves attempted a three-pointer and converted. Throughout the quarter, the teams traded points without either side managing to open up a significant advantage. In the final moments, Flamengo managed to secure a minimal lead and went into halftime winning 33-32.

Returning for the third period, the match remained very close, with Flamengo managing to maintain a slight lead. With just over three minutes left in the quarter, Caxias tied the game again. The teams continued trading points until the buzzer, with the home team closing the quarter at 55-54.
4st Bedroom
In the final quarter, the game remained balanced, with the score constantly changing hands. On the court, Gueiros appeared open on the perimeter and converted a three-pointer at a crucial moment. Following that, Negrete drove to the basket, missed his first shot, but capitalized on the rebound to score on his second attempt. Even trailing, Flamengo managed to regain the lead with a three-pointer from Shaq Johnson at a crucial moment. However, the home team regained the lead, largely due to the decisive performance of veteran Shamel. With a five-point advantage and 33 seconds remaining, Caxias managed the result to secure a 76-74 victory.
Next challenge
The Pride of the Nation returns to the court next Monday (6) to face Minas, at 20 pm, at Maracanãzinho, in another round of the NBB.
