Flamengo and Tijuca decide the U-14 State Championship
The final game between the two clubs is held at the Gávea headquarters

On the evening of last Friday (20.12), Flamengo's under-14 basketball team played, against Tijuca Tênis Clube, the second match of the finals of the men's State Championship in the category. Rubro-Negro lost 48 to 32, at the Gávea social headquarters, and took second place.
"It was a day when Tijuca played well and what we planned didn't work out. However, for the upcoming season, the boys will have much more experience, having a year under their belt. I believe they felt a bit nervous about not being able to lose the match," said Igor Meletti, the red-and-black coach.
In the first leg of the finals, Flamengo had already been defeated, 49 to 42, on the court at Tijuca Tênis Clube.
