Flamengo scores four consecutive victories in the LDB
With victory over Sport, the team reaches its eighth victory in 11 matches in the competition

Flamengo achieved its fourth consecutive victory with a 76-66 win over Sport, this Saturday morning (December 06.12th), in Recife, for the last round of the second stage of the Basketball Development League (LDB). The match was held at the Marcelino Lopes Gymnasium and marked the eighth victory for Flamengo in 11 games played so far in the competition. The standout player for the Pride of the Nation on the court was once again Cristiano Felício, who achieved a double-double in the third quarter and finished the game with 26 points and 17 rebounds.
Point guard Chupeta celebrated the team's good run of form. "We're getting back to winning in the championship and now we just need to continue on the winning path and finish this stage among the teams that would qualify, already well-placed so that in the fourth stage we're in a good position and can face an easier team later," he said.

Center Cristiano Felício scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds in the first quarter, and Flamengo opened up a 13-point lead in the first quarter (20-7). The period ended with a score of 25-12 for the Rio de Janeiro team. In the second quarter, the home team reacted and reached the final minutes of the period closer on the scoreboard (30-25). Coach Chupeta's team held on to the result and went into halftime leading 40-30.
The third quarter was balanced, ending in a 17-17 tie, but Flamengo maintained the good lead gained in the first half, going into the final period with the same ten-point advantage. In the last quarter, the balance remained, Sport played a tough game, but the victory stayed with Flamengo: 76-66.
