FlaBasquete faces Minas in the debut of NBB 12
Rubro-Negro begins its quest for the seventh consecutive victory away from home

Winning the fourth consecutive Rio de Janeiro championship is in the past, and this Saturday (12), FlaBasquete begins its journey in the NBB 12. Against Minas, at Minas Tênis Clube, 12:50 pm, the Pride of the Nation will seek its first victory in the national competition. The match will be broadcast live by Band.
Six-time champion of the tournament (08-09, 12-13, 13-14, 14-15, 15-16 and 18-19), the Mais Querido had some changes in the roster compared to last year. Davi Rossetto, Crescenzi, Nesbitt and Varejão left, and four new athletes arrived: Léo Demetrio, Leron Black, Pedro Nunes and Zach Graham. Idols Marquinhos and Olivinha remained, as did Deryk Ramos, Franco Balbi, Jhonatan Luz, Matheusinho, Rafael Mineiro and Ruan.

In the history of Novo Basquete Brasil, Flamengo and Minas have faced off 25 times, with 22 wins and 3 losses for the team led by Gustavo De Conti. Last season, they won 90-81 at the venue of the duel later today, and 82-60 at the Tijuca Tênis Clube.
