Flamengo faces Palmeiras in the NBB

A key player in the team's recent victories, point guard Marquinhos says he's happy with the current situation, but urges caution in the match against the São Paulo team. "We're playing well, but we can't relax. Against Palmeiras, a matchup we'll face, we won't have an easy time again. They're coming off a good game against Macaé and fighting to stay in the playoff group. We'll strive to close out this away series with another win," said the player.
Rubro-Negro remains in contention for its second national championship, while also seeking its second consecutive America's title. This Tuesday, semi-final groups drawn of the League of the Americas. Flamengo will face Peñarol, Halcones Rojos and Trotamundos between February 27th and March 1st.
