Flamengo concludes the first stage of the LDB in São Paulo
Rubro-Negro finished sixth in the group and will play at home again in August.
By Flamengo Communication - inFlaBasquete finished the first stage of the LDB, the biggest youth competition in the country, in sixth place in group B. With two wins in five matches, Rubro-Negro scored 7 points and will compete again at the end of August, in Rio de Janeiro.
With the absence of point guard Matheusinho, who tested positive for COVID-19, the Mais Querido also suffered the loss of Cristhyã, who was injured in the second match. Bauru and Rio Claro were Flamengo's first opponents, which they defeated 73-67 and 68-67. In the third round, the Crias da Gávea defeated Cerrado 3-94, and then Pinheiros, the home team, won 57-109. The Rubro-Negro closed the series with a 63-62 victory over Mogi.
