Flamengo will face Joinville tomorrow (January 10th) at 01 p.m. at the Tijuca Tennis Club gymnasium, and is counting on the fans to fill the stands in an attempt to break another historic NBB record. After their last match last Saturday, Flamengo tied Brasília for the most consecutive wins at the start of a season – eight in total. If they win their next match, they will become the all-time record holder.
 
The performance will be against the former club of coach José Neto and players Shilton and Kojo, Flamengo's pivot and point guard respectively.
 
"Although I have immense affection for the opposing team, I have even greater respect for the professionalism I've built throughout my career. It's going to be a game where my respect will be evident, but the energy and enthusiasm on the court will prevail. Now we fight together with the nation in pursuit of the championship," Shilton declared.
 
"I think it will be fun to play against my former club. Last year was quite productive, but now we're with Flamengo, working towards a bigger and better future," adds New Yorker Kojo.
 
With a 100% record in the competition, Flamengo also stands out with winger Marquinhos and power forward Olivinha, who continue to top the list of the season's top performers. Marquinhos is the top scorer, averaging 21,9 points, and Olivinha is the top rebounder, averaging 10,1.

The ticket price for tomorrow's match will be R$20, but Rubro-Negros fans who show up at the box office wearing the "sacred mantle" are guaranteed half price entry.
