Point guard Deryk Ramos, a standout player in Flamengo's last NBB match against Botafogo, comments on the upcoming challenge:

"We know that every Champions League match will be very difficult, as it's an international competition and the level of the teams is high. Everyone wants the same thing as Flamengo: winning the title. This is one of our main goals for the season. We know that the next challenge is always the most important, so we have to focus all our energy on this match against Valdivia. I'm sure the nation will turn out to push our team toward another victory in the competition."
