With five wins in six games, Flamengo returns to play in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) this Thursday (December 05.12th) against Minas Gerais at 20 p.m. at the Juscelino Kubitschek Arena in Belo Horizonte. José Neto's team has shown collective strength, winning matches despite a series of absences. Individually, the players have been standouts in the championship: Laprovittola is the competition's top scorer with 133 points, and Gegê has the most assists with 34.

Center Jerome Meyinsse has also been performing well. The American was Flamengo's representative in the NBB 6 team of the third week, chosen by the official blog of the National Basketball League (Território LNB). He was the top scorer in the game against Paulistano with 19 points, alongside Marcelinho, and also blocked shots against his São Paulo opponents.

"I feel increasingly comfortable with the team. For the next few games, we expect two tough matches. We'll focus on training as always and hope to achieve more of these goals. We have to always think about the next games," said the center.

Mais Querido occupies second place in the championship table, alongside Pinheiros, with 11 points and a success rate of 83.3% (5 wins in 6 games).
